THIS nippy little bike could be the shape of things to come.
The 30mph twist-and-go electric Oxygen CargoScooter is being sold by Lean Machines at the Innovation Centre, at University of Kent’s Canterbury campus.
The Italian contraption claims to have zero emissions, but can carry up to 90kgs in front and rear boxes – that’s an awful lot of pizzas.
It is already a favourite with the Swiss Post Office. Alas, the Royal Mail is currently testing two-man wheelie bins to replace its fleet of push-bikes.
