I used to use Dumbrell's shop in Artillery Road a lot, and was very sad to see it disappear a few years ago, so I'm very pleased to see the firm's little stop-off appear in Palace Street. The range of fruit and veg is decent, and I hope this venture is well supported as it offers a good in-town alternative to supermarket shopping.

Dumbrells are local greengrocers in Canterbury that has been a business since 1948. They offer a fantastic selection of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as dairy, seeds and nuts to name a few. You’ll find a much better value with your green groceries here than you would from your local supermarket.

ReportThese guys now have a new little shop in the Kings Mile and I was really impressed with it. They've got a great selection of local fruit and veg as well as some treat/deli style stuff. Also the friendly (nd often mature!) staff are really great if you need advice on howbest to cook things!
