Family friendly without losing its class

Pinocchio's is THE place to go if you are out with kids. Whenever we go out in a group including children we head straight for this Italian as they are so good at catering for little ones. They know exactly how to handle them and never lose their temper no matter what riotous behaviour is being displayed! But more than that the food is fantastic. Really great, high class Italian rather than your standard speedy, cheap and cheerful pasta or pizza. Beautiful meat, including top quality steaks that are actually cooked the way you request (for me it has to be practically still mooing). The wine list is good, and reasonably priced too, and the service is always warm and welcoming. Around £25 will get you a hearty meal and Pinocchio's, and it's money well spent!
