Only two weeks to go until Kent’s most exciting Christmas experience, Santa’s Magical Kingdom opens.

Open from 13 November, the Christmas extravaganza offers a complete entertainment experience with dazzling new winter wonderland displays, multisensory technology and state of the art special effects, which create the magical splendour of Father Christmas’ arctic home.

The new 4D cinema will take visitors on a Christmas adventure with plenty of surprises along the way; whilst special effects on the interactive Ice Walkway allow families to move snowflakes around. The experience is enhanced further with the introduction of sensory technology that releases special aromas. Crisp, icy air will tingle the senses in the North Pole, whilst the delicious aroma of chocolate will feature in the 4D cinema. In the Enchanted Forest, the fresh smell of aromatic pine trees will create the sensation of being in the real pine forests of Lapland.

Carl Partridge, the CEO of The Hop Farm said “We want to offer families a truly memorable day out and by mixing traditional values with the latest technology we have created one of the best Christmas attractions in Kent.”

Upon arrival at The Hop Farm families will follow the snow covered Christmas tree path that leads to the secret entrance. As the giant oak doors creak open, families will be greeted by enchanting music, festive aromas and friendly elves, as they step into the world of Santa’s Magical Kingdom.

After a spell binding Christmas adventure in the 4D cinema, families pass through the Enchanted Forest and are advised to keep their eyes peeled for Santa’s elves, both naughty and nice! In the Post Office children will write letters to Santa and post them up the magic chimney, when they are whisked away to Santa’s post sack!

Wander through the icy North Pole to meet Santa’s trusty reindeer, including two new babies born this year before entering the bustling Craft Workshop. Here the elves are busy making Christmas decorations and children can lend a helping hand by making their own to take home. After testing their creative skills, everyone can join Mrs Christmas in her Story Room, where children can huddle round and listen to festive tales from her story book. See enchanting special effects on the Ice Walkway – look out for the intriguing singing and dancing Yeti!

Next is a visit to meet Santa, who will be waiting for each family in his cosy, private study.  After telling Santa their Christmas wishes, children should keep an eye on the chimney, as they wouldn’t want to miss the gifts that come tumbling down!

Outside in the crisp winter air the journey will draw to a close with a ride on a full size Victorian Carousel and various other rides including the mini roundabout and train.

Tickets are now on sale at £27.50 per person between 13 November and 5 December and £35 per person between 10 December and 24 December 2010.  School parties and group concessions available.
