The T:24 Drama Society would like to invite anyone interested in seeing great drama, a great piece of literature and a hugely entertaining and moving look at the fragile human condition, to come and see, 'A Lie of the Mind.'

'A Lie of the Mind' is a dark drama by Pulitzer-prize winning American playwright Sam Shepard. Set in the gritty American west, the story alternates between two families after a severe incident of spousal abuse leaves all their lives altered until their final collision at an isolated cabin in the snow. They are connected by the marriage of Jake and Beth, whose savage beating and subsequent hospitalization at the hands of her husband begins the play. Exploring family dysfunction, the nature of love and loss, and the importance of exorcising the demons of the past, this play is intensely tragic and moving, and yet somehow joyfully uplifting and SERIOUSLY FUNNY! (No, really!) Not one to be missed.

'A Lie of the Mind' runs from the Wednesday 23rd- Friday 25th May at the Gulbenkian Theatre. Tickets are available online at: https://uk.patronbase.com/_GUL/Productions/ALA1/Performances.

Peformances will begin at 7:30pm each night.

Information and group (10+) bookings are available by calling the box office on 01227 769075.
