Kent Greeters are volunteers who want to help you make the most of your time here in Kent.
They will give you a unique and personal insight into the area, saving you precious time and quickly making you aware of what is available locally so that you can get the best out of your stay. Within an hour or so you will soon discover everything you want to know and get 'under the skin' of your chosen destination in Kent.
A Greeter can even be selected according to a specific shared interest, be it local history, architecture, art and culture, or shopping. Kent is known as the Garden of England and our Countryside Greeters can help you explore rural and coastal Kent through the regions many footpaths, cycling routes and rural treasures. It does not matter whether you are an experienced walker or a novice we can arrange for you to be met by a Greeter who will lead you on a walk that suits you.
Don't forget, this is a completely free service offered to you because Greeters want to share their passion for Kent, and show you what a rich and friendly place it is. All you have to do is fill in the online application form giving a minimum of 5 days notice

You don't get much for FREE these days and this looks like an interesting project. I already know Canterbury pretty well but I'd really like to get to know other parts of the county too. So as I'm having a Staycation this year so I think I might try a Kent Greet.

Yes, its not just about Canterbury. We offer greets throughout the whole of Kent. Its the perfect way to discover something new about the county, the towns or even just the area you live in!
