T:24 drama society (who produced sucessful productions such as, Shadow of a Gunman, Macbeth and The Resistable rise of Arturo Ui) returns to the Gulbenkian theatre, Canterbury. T:24 is proud to present one of Shakespeare's, most well known and loved tales 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.
Seemingly simple love story, brings dazed lovers, bumbling players and angry fairies alike to the woods where the enchantment begins. Funny, beautiful and dreamlike; numerous talented T24 actors reinvent Shakespeare’s greatest comedy play for the Gulbenkian Stage. Caught in the rapture of Puck’s Love potion, Lysander, Hermia, Demetrius and Helena will fall in love to the first person they see – No matter how unsuitable they are.
