A second man has been arrested following the deaths of two men whose bodies were found in a Canterbury pond.

The bodies of 17-year-old Hugo Wenn and 25-year-old Daniel Lloyd were discovered in Reed Pond, near Tennyson Avenue, on Monday (30th January 2012).

Kent Police said a 28-year-old Canterbury man was arrested at about 9.30pm last night (Tuesday 31st January 2012) on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.

Police were also granted a 36-hour extension yesterday to continue questioning a 54-year-old man from Canterbury who is being held on suspicion of murder.

Hugo's body was found by police in Reed Pond, which is on land owned by the Ministry of Defence (MoD), while they carried out a missing person search for him on Monday - divers found Daniel Lloyd several hours later.

Police say both deaths are being treated as "unexplained pending post-mortems", the results of which are expected later today (Wednesay 1st February 2012).

Hugo was a pupil at Archbishop's School in Canterbury until 2011, before attending Simon Langton Boys'.

A Facebook group set up in his memory already has more than 4000 members.

Daniel was a well known busker in Canterbury, who often went by the nickname Taihg - he can be seen in a youtube video, peforming as part of a 'Battle of the Buskers' competition.
