Peter Pan on Ice
The adaptation of JM Barrie's famous story of the boy who never grew up, comes to The Marlowe next week.
The fast-moving production is presented by the world-renowned Wild Rose Russian Ice Stars. Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook will spring to life against a backdrop of fire, Indian drumming and scenery changes - from Wendy's bedroom through to Hook's secret hideout.
Wild Rose producer Vee Deplidge said: "What makes Peter Pan on Ice so special is that the ideas behind it are magnificent. It has always been a big favourite of mine – I read it as a child and always loved being able to escape to wonderland whenever I opened the pages. It's truly satisfying to be able to transport others into this fantasy world with our latest production."
Peter Pan on Ice is at The Marlowe Theatre from Tuesday 31 January to Sunday 5 February (various performance times). Tickets range in price from £14 to £33 - you can find more details at their website.
