Anyone Can Act workshops, run by Canterbury drama lecturer and performer Gary Barber
Following the huge success of the previous season, led by local drama lecturer and performer Gary Barber, the Marlowe have announced they will be back for a longer run, starting on January 18th.
Focusing on popular TV and film scripts, the sessions will allow adults to explore acting in a supportive, relaxed environment.
The theatre have also announced the Wide Eyed Theatre will also be once again running The Marlowe Youth Theatre (for five to 18-year-olds) on Saturday mornings and Monday evening - however, most of these sessions are sold out due to many members returning year after year.
Wide Eyed Theatre are also returning with The Marlowe's regular programme of workshops on Mondays, including Marlowe Diddies (for children aged two to four) The Marlowe Free Spirits (a small group for adults with learning difficulties and their companions) and The Marlowe Bojanglers (a drama class for anyone aged 60 and over).
These mixed ability sessions are for those who wish to be creative without joining an amateur dramatics company.
