Dreaming of a White Christmas in Canterbury in 2011? Keep Dreaming says Metcheck

There's a chill in the air and temperatures are regularly dipping below freezing, but it seems we're not likely to get a White Christmas in Canterbury this year.

According to weather website Metcheck.com there's currently only a 10% chance well see snow on the big day in Kent this year.

After the trouble of the roads caused by the snow during the Christmas shopping period last year many of us are probably pleased to hear there isn't due to be a repeat of the chaos this year.

And it seems we wont be the only ones missing out - most of the country is predicted to have a less than 30% chance of snow on Christmas Day - that's good news for anyone travelling further afield to visit family and friends over the festive period.
