Campaign to find missing 17-year-old Hugo Wenn on Facebook and Twitter

People have taken to social media sites Facebook and Twitter in an attempt to find a boy called Hugo Wenn, who has apparenlty been missing since Friday night (27th January 2012).

The Facebook group, set up by Cordelia Edwards, gives the following details:
HUGO WENN IS MISSING!
PLEASE READ THIS!! THIS IS NOT A JOKE WE ARE ASKING FOR ANY INFORMATION
OR HELP THAT ANYONE MIGHT BE ABLE TO GIVE US ABOUT HUGO WENN WHO HAS
BEEN MISSING SINCE:
8pm on FRIDAY 27TH JANUARY!
HUGO IS PICTURED IN THIS EVENTS PHOTO. He is approx. 6ft 3, very blonde
hair, well built physically, and often beat boxes. (This maybe a way in
which someone will remember him)
He was supposed to be meeting
some friends at the THE BLIND DOG pub in canterbury that night, he sent
a text message saying he was there, but then another message saying he
was leaving and this was at 8pm. This was all before any of his friends
from the langton had got to the pub, so none of them saw him there! He
was then seen walking along canterbury highstreet alone beat boxing to
himself, at 8.30pm. He has been missing since then and has not made any
contact with his family/very close school friends!
This is a
group asking for anyone who can provide us with more information on his
whereabouts, to please call the numbers below and tell someone! Any
information will be helpful however small you may think it is!
Please invite all you friends to this as anyone might have seen him
that night. Please do this as his family are very worried AND THE POLICE
ARE NOW INVOLVED!
This is really serious so please do not hold anything back/make anything up.

My understanding is that police haven't confirmed anything yet. However the Facebook page about him being missing has now gone and as raptorK mentions above, there's now and RIP Hugo Wenn page.

ReportThere has been confirmation that Hugo Wenn was pronounced dead earlier today, if this statement is true then I send my sincere condolences to his family and those who knew him.

ReportI should have said that I've read elsewhere that he's 17. Important to stress I've only seen this on Facebook, I don't know him.

ReportI wonder how old this 'boy' is? He looks very much like a young man to me. Might be helpful to know. I hope he turns up soon.
